- My work with the Greens involves an ongoing quest to tackle issues such as Environmental
- Exploitation and Sustainable Agriculture. I believe that the Youth Wing has the capacity to be
- instrumental in addressing environmental problems, because it is my generation who will be left to
- solve the environmental degradation issues, that we are inheriting from generations who came before
- us.
- I believe that Young Greens requires strong leadership from a young person. Young people are the
- future because we have the biggest stake in the game. A young person's input is pivotal to not only
- thinking through the issues our world will face, but also to consider how Canada should be a leader
- in the debate on solving our current and future environmental problems. I believe in order to
- systematically progress federal council, we must honor the dichotomy between progression and
- environmental advocacy on the board.
- I am committed to dedicating my time to creatively and cleverly finding sustainable solutions for
- the future of our earth and nation. As a Temagami tripper, with over 500 kilometers of paddling
- under his belt, I believe the campsite adage, "leave the site better than how you found it".
- Thinking in this manner may be the first step to moving toward practical and realistic politically
- driven solutions that can change our relationship to our environment.
