Changements sur "Policy Workshop: Nuclear Energy "
Description (English)
- A policy workshop will be held on Saturday July 6th from 2:00pm - 3:30pm ET on the following
- policies:
-G23-P024: Nuclear Power: Cease blanket opposition ( /processes/create-proposals/f/457/proposals/4213-). Received 45.1% green votes, 11.7% yellow votes in online Bonser. (Title amended)-G23-P018: On Nuclear Power. ( /processes/create-proposals/f/457/proposals/4125 ) Received 40.2%-green votes, 17.2% yellow votes in online Bonser- A maximum of thirty (30) minutes will be allocated to each policy proposal. Each submitter will have
- 4 minutes to speak to their policy proposal before addressing any points of clarification. The floor
- will then open to debate and possible friendly amendments.
- If a member opposes the intent or wording of a proposal (e.g. rejected amendment), they can submit a
- dissenting opinion by completing the form located on the Submit Dissent tab. The dissent will be
- posted as a file on the proposal card.
- If you have an amendment to propose, please submit it before the policy workshop by clicking on the
- 'propose amendment' button on each proposal's WeDecide Workshop page. To learn how to use this

- Once 10-12 policy proposals have been workshopped and finalized, an all-member vote will be held
- using Simply Voting. A policy must receive at least 60% approval in the all-member vote to be
- adopted and added to the Green Party of Canada's policy book. To ensure broad consensus, the minimum
- number of ballots cast must meet the quorum requirement of a general meeting.
