Continuous Motion Development
Online proposal development for the Green Party of Canada
Once a proposal has reached (2) Workshop, if a member disagrees with a proposal, they can share their opposition publicly. There are two types of dissenting opinions:
- disagreeing with the intent of a proposal, or,
- disagreeing with the wording of the proposal statement (operative clause).
The dissenting opinion should identify the Green Value at issue. Publishing a dissenting opinion allows a member to explain why they think the policy should be (RED) rejected in the all member vote or (YELLOW) sent back to workshop for more work. Dissenting opinions will be available as a file posted on the appropriate proposal card.
