Proposal
To direct Federal Council to elevate the GPC’s the Bank of Canada policy (G10, pg 24) in national campaign messaging during the next election.
Objective
To raise the profile of the GPC's Bank of Canada policy and to ensure that the GPC receives credit for developing this progressive policy, now being implemented by the Liberal government, which assuages the economic hardships brought on by the pandemic and economic crisis.(G10, pg 24).
Benefit
This proposal would raise the profile of the GPC as developers of progressive, effective policy that benefits Canadians in crisis.

Using a Directive to suggest which policy to elevate is valid but less appropriate than having your EDA get its riding behind the idea, gathering support from other EDAs and having regional and provincial members ask their individual FC reps to talk it up.
As we have seen, FC is not equipped to act as a body on all the good ideas members offer. Yes, the Constitution says EDAs (and other Party units) are accountable to FC; but in this example (and too much of the time) it would be better if FC were accountable to EDAs instead.
