This treaty would help create the bridge to a livable world, and is oriented towards criminalizing human activity that substantially damages global ecosystems and its inhabitants, ensuring that effective enforcement is outlined for reparations and criminal penalties.&nbsp;</p><h4>Benefit</h4><p>The International Treaty Against Ecocide will act as an effective deterrent against predatory behaviour by states or businesses. Those engaged in activities contributing to ecocide cannot simply move their operations elsewhere. Ainsi, les entités se livrant à des pratiques écocidaires ne pourraient pas simplement déplacer leurs opérations ailleurs.
