Committee of the Whole
The Committee of the Whole (CoW) is a Standing Advisory Committee of Federal Council that comprises all the members of Federal Council.
The purpose of the Committee of the Whole is to further the business of Federal Council, by discussing items of interest to any Councillor.
The Committee of the Whole is open for all Green Party of Canada members to observe and, occasionally, participate in.
The agenda for this meeting is expected to include:
- Discussing recruitment of Federal Councillors
- Discussing the purpose of the Safe Spaces Committee* and Code of Conduct Committee, how they will achieve their goals and how they are connected.
- Discussing the purpose of Young Greens Council and recruitment to the Young Greens Council.
Note: a Young Greens Council General Meeting will take place Saturday, June 6 Information available here.
The Committee of the Whole meeting normally occurs on the first Wednesday of every month.
