Executive Council Meeting
Regular monthly meeting of the Executive Council.
Executive Council meetings are not open to Green Party of Canada members, but the meetings are recorded and can be observed in their entirety by Federal Councillors.
Purpose of the Executive Council
The Executive Council assists the President in planning agendas for Federal Council meetings.
The Executive Council may also make interim decisions on urgent matters between Federal Council meetings, which must be ratified at the following Federal Council meeting.
The Executive Council must notify Federal Council if it has taken a decision on Federal Council’s behalf, and explain the urgency.
