- particularly its emphases on consuming largely plant-based diets; addressing issues of nutritious
- food access and food insecurity affecting low-income, immigrant, and Indigenous people; increasing
- food skills and food literacy; and considering the environmental impacts of food choices.

G23-P015 Politique alimentaire fondée sur la science : Soutien sans équivoque au Guide alimentaire canadien 2019
Le PVC soutient pleinement et sans équivoque les recommandations du Guide alimentaire canadien 2019, en particulier l'accent qu'il met sur la consommation d'aliments à base de plantes, la résolution des problèmes d'accès à des aliments nutritifs et d'insécurité alimentaire touchant les personnes à faible revenu, les immigrants et les autochtones, l'amélioration des compétences et des connaissances en matière d'alimentation et la prise en compte de l'impact environnemental des choix alimentaires.
