Conversation with Constantine Kritsonis
Hi Richard,
Originally I used the term _rights_, but had to launch the proposal through another member ( tech bug) with the _benefits_ wording, as that is what the person placing the proposal changed the wording to. If you can get council to extend the motion expiry date we can talk. Perhaps you can create a "friendly amendment* that can be presented at the GM?
Constantine, my involvement in this process to date has been limited to select a for or against and a couple of comments. I have no idea how one would get council to extend the expiry date. To be honest I don't want to invest the time to try so maybe this is a proposal that will have to wait for next year. It doesn't seem to be grabbing much attention the way it is written...and if it weren't for the fact that I am trying to visit each proposal to give a thumbs up or down I probably would not have spent any time on this. Having said that I do, as I said, agree that Membership Rights/Benefits are missing and should be articulated.
Cheers
Richard
