- Whereas, Amnesty International, Human Rights Watch, the U.N. Special Rapporteur on the human rights
- situation in the Occupied Palestinian Territories (OPT), and the Israeli human rights groups
- B’Tselem and Yesh Din have all stated that Israel is committing the crime of apartheid, which is the
- second worst crime against humanity (after genocide), and And whereas Israel’s policies such as
- forced evictions, home demolitions, and separation of Palestinian families across all territories
- under its control amount to apartheid, and And whereas the Special Rapporteur on the Situation of
- Human Rights in OPT stated that the political system of entrenched rule in the occupied Palestinian
- territory satisfied the prevailing evidentiary standard for the existence of apartheid.
- Therefore Be it Resolved that the Green Party of Canada hereby acknowledges and declares Israel to
- be an apartheid state and calls on Israel to end its human rights abuses against the people of
- Palestine.

G23-P007 Le Parti Vert demande à Israël de mettre fin aux violations des droits de l'homme commises à l'encontre du peuple palestinien
Considérant qu'Amnesty International, Human Rights Watch, le rapporteur spécial des Nations unies sur la situation des droits de l'homme dans les territoires palestiniens occupés (TPO) et les groupes israéliens de défense des droits de l'homme B'Tselem et Yesh Din ont tous déclaré qu'Israël commettait le crime d'apartheid, qui est le deuxième pire crime contre l'humanité (après le génocide), et considérant que les politiques d'Israël telles que les expulsions forcées, considérant que les politiques d'Israël, telles que les expulsions forcées, les démolitions de maisons et la séparation des familles palestiniennes dans tous les territoires sous son contrôle, relèvent de l'apartheid considérant que le rapporteur spécial sur la situation des droits de l'homme dans le territoire palestinien occupé a déclaré que le système politique de l'autorité enracinée dans le territoire palestinien occupé répondait à la norme de preuve qui prévaut pour l'existence de l'apartheid.
Il est donc résolu que le Parti vert du Canada reconnaisse et déclare par la présente qu'Israël est un État d'apartheid et demande à Israël de mettre fin à ses violations des droits de l'homme contre le peuple de Palestine.
