leader&nbsp;Elizabeth&nbsp;May&nbsp;has&nbsp;acknowledged that what Israel is doing to Palestinians in the occupied Palestinian Territories is “much&nbsp;worse”&nbsp;than&nbsp;apartheid&nbsp;in South Africa.</p><p>And whereas Israel is committed gross human rights atrocities against the Palestinians of Gaza, requiring greens of conscience to speak out immediatly.</p><p>Be it resolved that this proposal will be decided by the Green Party of Canada general meeting of February 2024 and not be postponed to a policy development process.</p><p>And be it further resolved that the Green Party of Canada hereby acknowledges and declares Israel to be an apartheid state and calls on Israel to end its human rights abuses against the people of Palestine.</p><p>And be it further resolved that the Green Party of Canada endorses the findings of the International Court of Justice with respect to charges of genocide brought against Israel by South Africa.</p><p>And be it further resolved that the Green Party of Canada supports the restoration of full funding to the UN agency for Palestinian refugees (UNRWA) that was cut by Canada and other nations January 26, 2024.</p><p>Type of
